Are you sure? I think I have to install software from Adaptec, because of the R/W capability.

At least, the old machine would only read the CDs with that software up. If I turned it off, the CD Drive would not work.

What I wanted to do, is add the CD R/W as a second CD Drive. That was the plan, anyway. At this point it's still in Pat's ballpark. I'm not touching the damn thing until he gets home.

I missed the stuff on Sybergate/NAT. I have to show the kid....I just don't follow that stuff without someone walking me through it.

Something like the "Of course, we ship everything FedEx" commercial.
