This is more or less predicted.(see one of my old posts about a week ago.)

I suppose it's as much as "options dynamics" as manipulation.

Max-Pain doesn't take into account unethical brokerage firms like Chase. I am as flabergasted as the guy at First Union is. QCOM management is not in the quiet period. Although they just presented at a conference, they should isue a public press release (for the benefit of ALL of its shareholders) either refuting the downward revision of the estimates or state that it is pure horseshit!
