It's that kind or perspective that enabled the crusades, and witch burning and enables all sorts of stinkin thinkin today. If you want to lessen the enormity of taking human life in order to make yourself feel better about it, I can certainly understand that. But I see it as evil cowardice, and nothing reduces the enormity of the taking of a human life (by ANYONE, STATE or CRIMINAL) since one human life may be all you get. That's all folks.
