So I am playing Monday at the City course. Just me and a buddy and I look back and told my buddy that we should ask those two behind us if they want to join. My buddy says, "I don't think so did you check out that dudes shoes?".

So I look over and the dude has on these heavy workboots that have like drywall and paint all over them.

Anyway I asked them if they wanted to join us and they did.

I can tell you I have never seen a more natural and powerful swing in my life. This guy never had a lesson, and really only started playing a couple times a month in the last few years. Wow, it was machine like. Imagine a robot that has a short arm and full wrist release. Now this guy had some problems, but I have to admit I was just amazed. He would hit and the ball would go a long way but way too high.

You can't underestimate natural talent. For the last five holes we played I had four pars and a triple bogey. The dude with the boots just smoked my buddy who didn't want to play with him.

I got a grin off of that. Books and covers. Go figure.
