D, I was just going to post the same news article. You beat me to it. I think this means RMBS gets royalties even if they don't use RDRAM.

I didnt realize RMBS had patents in this area. What exactly have they patented? I thought the non-RMBS stuff was the threat.

This is very good news, it seems but I am a bit confused...
Does toshiba licensing ddr prove that rambus does indeed own ddr along with rdram?
