Yes, I've been doing lots of research for an elderly neighbor re: the reverse mortgage. What a rape job in terms of rates (variable) and fees. Does anyone here know of a lender offering a fixed rate reverse mortgage that doesn't require PMI? (imagine a PMI requirement for a mortgage that's impossible for the borrower to default on!) TIA

I wonder if that program is still available. I'd bet you could get some fairly good deals. I wonder if they loan the entire estimated value or only a portion, the remainder of which is sold upon death with an adjustment to the estate?

The problem is I don't know if I'm old enough.

Too old to be trading but not old enough to stop.
