Bert,

Toshiba last night became the biggest memory player to bite the Rambus bullet and to license SDRAM (synchronous memory) and DDR (double data rate) memory from the Mountain View intellectual property machine.

I find the Toshiba deal to be rather suspicious. Why would Toshiba agree to pay before the current lawsuits are resolved? There must be some incentives from Rambus (like stock maybe?) ;^)
