I agree that most murderers should serve life sentences, and not have parole. That is my base line, after which I say that particularly egregious murderers should be executed. I, of course, did not bring up overcrowding..... I am more ambivalent about child molesters, although the recidivism issue is very serious.......Still, one serves time for actual offenses, not future offenses.....On the other hand, there is a big public safety issue......... I think we are too harsh in sentencing users, but not necessarily pushers. I have no strong opinion on the length of sentences, only that they should be liable.......
