Perhaps some of us take the moment with a deeper emotional pain than you. I find it terribly insensitive that you need to berate Edwarda's sister for her circumstances. And now your posting of my PM to you just goes to cement my beliefs that are as cold as ice.

Find a heart Mr.

George, you shouldn't have posted shootie's PM. But as someone who knows you well, I think, and loves you, I think, I forgive you on his behalf, if I may, and I hope that I may.

Bless you, good old George, we all are not as pure as you are. So you may act as a beacon to us all, and a remonstration to us all. But please, be a bit more charitable.

As for E not taking the time to dig up the post about Edwarda, she is in the process of getting ready to go away on matters that were settled long in advance. Was her explanation unsatisfactory to you? Charity bids that we hold our tongues. She has done a lot for Edwarda, over the years, and she did a lot for her this time.

I could find fault with you for living so near Edwarda, yet not rushing to her side. But having examined the matter, my conclusion is that you cannot, for reasons which you are reluctant to post. Charity bids that I accept that, and I do, without question. After all, I only live a few hours away myself. There is no good reason keeping me from jumping into the SUV and charging off, or else buying a very reasonable ticket on the shuttle, and flying off, except that I doubt that I could do anything for Edwarda, better than helping unite her with her sister.

Shootie did Edwarda a very good turn by figuring out how people can send money to her sister. When Edwarda goes to her sister's house for convalescence, that money will come in very handy, won't it? So please spare a prayer for Shootie.
