First, there is a moral "should", and a legal "should". There are plenty of things you have the right to say that you should not. Second, government spaces belong to the public, through those authorities duly constituted. It is perfectly legitimate to take into account the wishes of a substantial portion of the citizenry in eliminating offense plaques. Third, prayer in school is a separate, and complicated issue. It is reasonable to ban it in morning exercises, not so reasonable to ban it in commencement exercises, and unreasonable to ban it when under the auspices of a club meeting outside school hours............

CC,
You don't know me at all. You are a johnny come lately that know not whereof he speaks. If you will check around, you will find that I am one of the most conservative posters on any thread around. I am also a devout Christian that believes in prayer any place and any time, and to hell with those that object.

Free speech is one thing that I value. Displaying, or saying, things that are deliberately intended to hurt a specific group, is not gentlemanly. Obviously you are of the Southern poor white trash variety, that hates all people of any other color than white. If you want to question my racial make up, I am Irish, Welsh, English, French, German, Mohawk, and Seneca. ~H~
