Mike: Are you sure these deferred rev's aren't related to royalties received from MSFT? I thought the original $175M received was to be recognized over multiple periods. Did you catch this release? press.citrix.com This is truly a different approach if I understand it correctly, and I'd really like to know the structure of licensing for this model. ISV's presumably pay CTXS for rights to embed the functionality in their product and it's ASP-ready. No web re-writes and you get the time-to-market. Note that the list of participants are largely European, but I did see Cerner, who's big in the healthcare sector. dd

Mike, Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I did mean to type in deferred revenue, but my typed assets. I do believe my point still remains watching. We have to watch and see how the company handles revenue moving forward. Drawing down on deferred revenue may make things look good in the short-term, but can mask whether the company is straighting out its sales channel issues. The good news is that after reviewing the 10K for the past few quarters, I don't see any games being played with deferred revenue so far. Heeren
