Geeze Stan.......(Off of RB).............

Get a clue. PNL's originally conceived b-model
didn't work or generated the anticipated revenue
due to the relunctance of people willing to
pay for info that they believe they should be
able to go online and get for free.

Thus the shift in the model away from
extended memberships to a join on an as needed basis,
more contingent on generating revenues through
advertising than via ancillary product sales, since
products like online interviews can be pirated
circumventing any user fee.

Problem with PNL to date seems to be, they keep
builidng toll booths of one form or another, and
every one keeps finding a new way to drive around
them without paying, thus PNL figures it will make
more money selling space on the bill boards
along the sides of the highway.

Problem is PNL right now is on more figuratively of a county road despite its literal global outreach.

Not enough traffic on its road yet, so no one is
willing to pay an whole lot to advertize on bill boards
that no one sees.

PNL thus is trying to aggregate so much content,
much of which is unique,
to be of such benefit to generate traffic.

As long as PNL can keep its burn rate low
and its PP's reasonable without too much dilution,
PNL may achieve what it is trying to to achieve.

But success ain't a certainty.

Building traffic through added content to warrant
higher rates of sales from more demand for
placement and positioning on a site's web pages
hasn't been a very effective model for many
niche players.

Maybe PNL niche is large enough and marketing
successful enough to make their business happen.

Maybe it won't.

Time will tell
