George, Shootie is responding to my request that people who were in communication with Edwarda over the past few weeks post any information about her life that they can remember. Coug, if you have read the thread, mentioned that she had been helping her friend clean out the house of an old person who died. Coug is right, that could be significant, even though hantavirus isn't endemic to the Northeast, there are other viruses which can be caught from rodent droppings. I knew a lady in Baton Rouge that developed a permanent debilitating condition after accidentally brushing her teeth with the toothbrush she used to clean her pet mouse's cage. So, no clue is too small to mention.
