Oh geeze...It's just a global consciousness.
It's enlightenment.
It's not a freak of nature.
Information is sent a lot faster.
People think a lot faster.
Work a lot harder.
Repression.
Regression.
Wake up man.
This is a New Century.

I think assuming a nuclear winter for the stock market is way too gloomy. My hypothesis is that the NASDAQ bull market with its high returns kills the slower growth value stocks. Once the NASDAQ breaks down the value stocks will come back - we have seen these picture in march, when the NASDAQ hellride sucked the money out of many solid stocks, forcing new lows every day. Therefor,I do not believe in the nuclear winter taking everything down without discrimination.
I also do not believe in gold any more - gold is not used by the industry that much and there are tremendous amounts of gold stored by the national banks, who would like to sell them of rather sooner then later. The problem with gold is,that not much of it is needed and that it just may become irrelevant as a value standard.
