First, there's Nokia, Now NOKIA AND AT&T, with 4G NO LESS ! Then there's Nokia (repeat):Message 13900869 Would it not also be logical, that Hatim (who has been working with 4GNT for about 2 years), is very well aware of, and has contributed to, this partner selection process ? Then THERE IS NOKIA ... Much can be said on Nokia ... but my time does not allow, (and I invite comment and thoughts on the following) .. For your own information .... I suggest a careful review of the several Press Releases at ofdm-forum.com and ... look for Nokia's serious involvement in the "soon to be upon us" 4G communications revolution, as follows.... 1. Nokia is one of the first members (now 10) of the OFDM Steering Committee. This committee fully intends to shape the future of common OFDM (4G) standards. 2. Nokia is the Chair of .. Fixed Wireless Access (WLAN) , including ... Home Multimedia, and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs). I believe that this leaves little doubt that Nokia fully intends to be a leader in the 4G revolution. It's also apparent that Nokia will send a number of Key Personnel to the July 13-15 meetings in Calgary to not only view the Chuckwagon Races, but to fully partake in some serious Working Group and Plenum Session activities as well. Nokia & AT&T:yahoo.cnet.com AT&T Wireless and Nokia agreed today to work together to develop a new line of mobile phones capable of high-speed Net surfing, videoconferencing, streaming music and other next-generation features. The two companies are looking down the road to the day when upgrades to the wireless phone networks allow Web surfing at speeds far faster than today's connections. AT&T's 4Gyahoo.cnet.com Dubbed "fourth generation," or 4G, the technology is aimed at supercharging wireless access to the Internet over cell phones and other mobile devices. Where today's mobile-phone connections run at about a quarter the speed of dial-up modems, these systems could start about 90 times faster than a dial-up modem and go up from there. Could this be the formula ?? (Nokia)+(W-OFDM Forum)+(Wi-Lan's Technology) = & AT&T's 4G : CheerZ[TM], Mardy.
