Well...he better be damn sure of it. Because if he isn't, he's going to get roasted on a spit in a manner worse that EP.
I agree that this is the way a CEO should talk, but only if they have certain deals in the bank already and the figures are a slam dunk.
I don't think MD is lying, but he'd better be very careful when speaking like that.

I'm comfortable with MC not speaking like this until the company starts performing, for 2 reasons. 1. The Street won't pay attention right now. 2. He needs to focus on the company and not Wall Street right now. Once the company is performing in the areas he wants it to, then he can spend more time playing prognosticator.

Other than that, hope everyone's Father's Day was dandy. Mine was great...my 6 year old finally starting reading on his own. And it was the NYTimes stock tables!!!(just kidding)

Let's hope MD's concept of huge is the same as WS's concept of huge. If not, things could get rough. I'm happy with no warning at this point. A nice comment that CPQ is on target by MC would be appropriate at this point.
