Willamette will be tied to RAMBUS - initially.

However, the Willamette CPU performance will put it in a market segment that is FOCUSED ALMOST TOTALLY ON PERFORMANCE AND NOT COST.

Hence, the cost of RAMBUS modules will be a secondary issue.

At the same time, I expect Intel to offer >1 GHz Coppermines that will use 133 MHz SDRAM/i815E to compete in the high end consumer segment - up against the AthWipers.
