I doubt that the doctors will even respond directly to me without written authorization, but your post gives me the idea that I should mention that we DON'T expect a response directed to ourselves, but suggest they discuss it with Claudia, and also mention that Claudia said it was ok to contact them.

I am very glad that this was said. While everyone here cares a great deal about Edwarda, we are not family, nor are most of us real intimates, and caring does not give us a right to explore every detail of her life. We are treading very close to invading her privacy - for generous reasons perhaps, but when we begin to question family motives, talk about her sex life, how she treated her illnesses, talk of the most personal things, all online rather than by PM, I hurt for her and am concerned for the pain that could possibly be felt by others involved. Edwarda did not live in a vacuum; she has family that obviously cared enough to do the right things so far. I would not want to wake up and discover my life spread over these public pages. There is a limit not just to what we disembodied voices can do, but to what we SHOULD do. And I fear we have crossed some boundaries that should not have been traversed. If I hurt anyone I apologize-- I could be wrong, and just projecting my own feelings about the situation.
