Oh, but Jim, don't you realize, this is Reagan's economy kicking in years after those 1980s tax cuts...and those huge 1980s/early 1990s deficits were Jimmy Carter's fault of course.<g>

Let me remind you that the market took off after the GOP took Congress in November 1994. That neutered Clinton - policy wise - and he never passed any of his schemes. The Congress forced him into a balanced budget and welfare reform - both of which he had resisted. Neither would have happened w/o that historic reversal of fortune.
