In April the Company announced that it expects its overseas ventures to record approximately $80 million in total revenue this year, an increase of 300 percent over 1999. Sub revs., shmevs. What I would like to hear about from management is growth of collateral revenue sources. Last quarter was not a banner increase in ad revs as I recall. Like the pundits say, even with near complete capture of the sub market, access fees alone don't do much for the share valuation. Carriage fees, a percentage of advertising revenues from other isp's, advertising revenues themselves from Excite, sales percentage from IOTV, content providers. All these and more is where the big dollars will hit the boards for points. If Excite is #5 and such a good investment I want to hear about how much it is generating and will generate to the bottom line. I see the company heading in good directions and am finally optimistic that time is now on our side with T holding brass -feet to the fire. Explain the 'up 300%' part to me 'cause at the next CC folks will want to know how business, aside from sub sign-up, is growing. Management: Don't tell me about PO tential, even if the ratio is small, the ratio should illustrate the exponential MO mentum possible from the BB users currently on and presumably spending more on Excite sponsored sites. This would reassure the doubters that the valuation of a BB sub is warranted and rooted in REALITY. If we notice a 'small thing' like this you bet WS will take notice as well.
