1980? Boy, do the PGM's look strong. This looks just like 1980 except the fundamentals look to be even better. 1980 was driven by inflation fears and speculation. This mkt seems to be driven by DEMAND, only - at this point.

This may mean that there is actually pent up demand because one wouldn't expect industry to be stockpiling at these prices. In fact one would expect that industry would be buying off the shelf waiting for prices to drop.

What could happen, and in fact may be happening is that speculation will enter the picture in a real way and at this point users/industry will really be squeezed because they didn't stockpile at these prices which may trun out to be rreal bargins in a short while.

There just doesn't seem to be any supply at all! I think we saw a little action in the PGM juniors i.e. River Valley, but it seems to me all of the PGM stock plays are seeriously lagging the mkt.

Just some thoughts.
