AMD volume = 3.8M shares ; AMD float = 111.8M shares
INTC volume = 29.8M shares ; INTC float = 3.35B shares
% of AMD float traded = 3.4%
% of INTC float traded = .89%
AMD gain based on NYSE-close= +11.29%
INTC gain wo/ afterhours = +8.28%

I hate it when people say stuff like this, but it did look like Intel led the NASDAQ up today. Nasdaq had been in a narrow range for 12 trading days, Intel was up at the start and everything else eventually followed. Even though Intel was down 2+ on Friday it had very positive money flow (more blocks on uptick than downtick), good volume today. Looks like accumulation going into earnings and split.

It's great the way Intel has held up in relation to the other big cap high techs, only 10 points off it's all time high. Of course then there is EMC, at a new all time high (and I believe that makes us both happy). Have to visit the EMC thread to see if there is a celebration.
