re: "I don't want to plagiarize too much niceguy's style but, as I look to the graph, it is likely that we won't see the mid 80's back at least for a while. The stock wasn't overbought today, it rather seems having been undersold. It could be a hard morning tomorrow but if the stock resist at 89-91 I think it will mark the begining of a solid trip in the 90's and up with the short term resistance moving from 80 to 90."

Comment: It's only normal to expect some retracement after a day move of $9.00 but since when has AMD behaved normally...The relatively low volume today certainly implies to me that the shares are now primarily in strong hands...As well, the Duron benchmarks eliminate any remaining uncertainty about AMD's wherewithal for competing successfully at all levels for the foreseeable future...I wouldn't bet on a whole lot of weakness in AMD tomorrow...In fact, I won't be surprised if AMD closes at an all-time high above $93 tomorrow, maybe even significantly above, if 5 million in volume materializes...

In any event, AMD is in the initial stages of a lurch forward into hitherto untouched terrain...The next 4 weeks should provide above average returns for AMD longs!
