I have 2 CDMA devices now, How many up grades do you think I will make in the next 10 Years..?2, 4 etc.... Does your assumption include vehicle devices, and PDAs that will give you good resturant locations on your packet video screen when you go to a new city...? Maybe just 1.9B 3G devices.

Didn't some of the naysayers of Microsoft say essentially the same thing during the birth of the PC? Wasn't it the CEO of Burroughs who stated "We just don't see a need for a personal computer in every home. The important computing will be done on mainframes for the forseeable future." Microsoft had the vision of the future of computing. Those who allied themselves with that thinking prospered. Those that didn't went the way of Burroughs and Digital Equipment.
I believe that Qualcomm has the vision of mobile communications. Those who ally themselves with Qualcomm will prosper.
