brees,
You have mentioned a couple of times that things are a "sin" in your religion and I got curious about what sin means for you. It almost has a Catholic feel to it, offenses based not on large concepts but more nitpicky crimes.

Why is it a sin to anthropomorphize God, except by use of certain approved terms? IS there a list you go by? A God who weeps seems to me to be merely a more poetic way of saying compassionate, which you have listed as an "acceptable" characteristic. Who defines the very nature of God, which seems to me to be the greatest mystery of all?
Have I missed where you shared your belief source and what guides you on "the path"? If so, I'm sorry--There have been a lot of posts!!
