Perhaps you strive to do the best you can for yourself and others- as far as you can see what that is- irregardless of what may or may not be? Well that's what I do. I would do the same if there was a God or if there wasn't. For example, if God turned out to be Evil I'm not going to worship evil just because that is the way the universe is. And if God is good he won't care whether I believed in him or not- he'll care what I DID- and if he doesn't than he is evil and I wouldn't worship evil anyway. So whether there is an eternity of not makes no difference to ME, NOW. Voila
