Excellent, Dan. I didn't realize Randy Newman grew up in New Orleans. The bit about the black children getting their ice cream on the other side of the ice cream truck isn't something I remember, but I sure remember separate waiting rooms at the free clinics. My mother had a separate set of dishes for the maid and the yard guy. The first time I was a guest of some Jews who kept Kosher, and was served on a special set of dishes reserved for Goys, kinda brought me back.<g>
