bp, The precedent from the Toshiba deal is that you don't need to build a better mousetrap, you just need to patent one little piece of a mousetrap, to collect royalties on the whole product. If the deal holds up, there will be rush to think up and snap up patents for every idea that ever popped into any digital designer's head. I suspect that I could create troublesome patent disclosures against every large design house in the world, in a matter of 24 months. Scumbria
