What wasn't clear to me in that story that gave a July 17 date was whether that removed the previous final prospectus condition - ie. that Canaccord could back out at any time up to then. IF it does, it is actually good news, because a delay is better than an exit option.

BTW, the Government of Canada has nothing to do with the charges against Cowpland. It is the Ontario Securities Commission, a provincial body. And fwiw, there are no jurors involved in that type of hearing.

Bizarrely, there is still a huge banner for recruitment on the side of the building, emblazoned with "Careers at Corel". The guy who gets them taken down must have been laid off.
