The downgrading was made obvious by the inconsistencies in one of the analyst's comments, compared with his earlier comments. That, plus the unusual put option activity, sets the stage for some class actions. Most people think that this is another typical insider trading sham. But another more recent theory that is gaining acceptance in the courts is called fraud on the market. I think that's where this one belongs. In any event, the bad mouthing of both QUALCOMM and Globalstar suggests an agenda other than accurate reporting or analysis. It's happened before with both stocks. Art
