It had looked like GSTRF was finally beginning to move up from 9 1/4, but then it dropped back. What does it take to get a short squeeze going? Are shorts defending their position by shorting more? I know zip about shorting.

There is confusion. A car communication system is not a cellular phone; the module would also do phone but the phone is usually going to be considered something different which is simply plugged into the cradle. When plugged in the cradle, it would then become integrated with the car communication system. In other words, you don't need a handset that itself could do G* service on its own.
