Ken

I know you did not ask for advise but...

Check your left wrist to insure it is solid throughout the putting stroke. I think the left wrist breakdown is the most common fault in putting strokes. Hard to tell when it is happening so just focus on keeping it solid and that usually does the trick.

Best of luck and if that does not work there is always the Bernhard Langer grip. ;-)

Ken, before you go to the long putter, try left hand low first. Some people call it cross handed putting. I switched last year and it without a doubt did more for my golf game than all of the clubs and balls I've bought in my life did for my game. It will feel very awkward first, but after a short time and with some practice, you'll see a big improvement in feel, line, and distance control I'll bet. It really stopped my three putting habit dead in it's tracks. Taken 2.5 off of my handicap due to left hand low.....my putting was that bad.

KFE,

Sorry to hear about your putting. I can relate with the other clubs, but for the me the putter is the only one I can count on all the time (ok 95% of the time).

I have not read it yet, but I understand that Dave Pelz's Putter Bible is out. Might be worth a read because I really do trust his research and logic on the short game. There is no reason for me to doubt that he did a lesser job with the topic of putting.

Good luck, and hopefully your high handicappers will hit it well.
