Yeah, yeah, I know buying short term way out of the money calls does not a Gorilla Investor make, but I do have long term positions in JDSU, QCOM and CREE (and pebbles(?) TFS, KOPN and VRTA)..... Yes, I believe in LTB&H of gorillas and Kings, but hey, I'm also an adrenaline junkie of sorts, and there's nothing I've come across in any type of gambling more satisfying than a good (if lucky) seat of the pants 5 bagger on an option play.

I just wanted to thank the Board for its excellent discussion of RMBS, without which I would not have made my own (reckless) decision to buy the o-o-m RMBS call options.

Now, how 'bout dat JDSU?

<<Thanks to this board for leading me to RMBS. I was fortunate enough to have bought some way out of the money short term calls on Tuesday (July 125's) and it looks like I might have a 5 or 6 bagger on my hands.>>

1. I didn't know OTM calls could go up. Mine always just go down. Hmmmm, something's fishy here.

2. On behalf of the thread I graciously accept your thanks. In recompense, you are now springing for the vino at next year's meeting. (Unless all three of my bowling pins fall. Then I might go halfsies with you.)

3. Me, I closed out my Rambus position in the fall, after they missed their early Christmas. (uncwest, it took Cree to forgive you for that!<GGG>) Sat on the sidelines through the subsequent drop, the moonlaunch, the next drop, and now the next rocket. With the value chain falling into line behind it, Rambus now seems ready to be pronounced an official young enabling technology gorilla, raising the rather pressing question of whether and when most of us should take a position. Since the damn thing is going up by leaps and bounds, the matter could be a bit urgent...
