<Benjamin. user interface is not the phone casing.>

Darrell, with all due respect, the user interface is the phone and casing itself--I believe you are confusing with "Air Interface" which certainly would be another story.

Darrell, I think you got it wrong. You may confuse the UI either with Application interface or Air interface.

The UI itself is reffering to what ever presented to the end user to control the all the functions of a phone. Like dialing, menuing, coloring, inputing etc.

Darrell -

A valiant attempt to make the NOK/IDCC case.

A noble attempt to find something good in this Nokia defeat.

Try and read betwen those lines.

You have to go to NOK's site to even find the release - they didn't give it to the news wires.

Meanwhile, NOK will pay for 1X QCOM chips through its surrogate, Telson, and try to save a little face. For now. IDCC can twist in the wind and reassure themselves that they're relevant.

Thanks for adding a little color to the board.

regards,
