Dr. Watson: I cannot get it to run. I click on it in the microsoft system information/tools drop down menu and nothing happens. The cursor does blip for a second and then nothing... I ran a find file for Dr. Watson and tried to exectute from there but the same thing happened.

I ran a System file check and it found no errors.

Not sure what would be unusual or usual on startups. And Bootlog.txt sounds like a football play from my younger years. ;0)

I did notice something which may be of interest in the system configuration utility. It is set up for Selective Startup and the Process System.ini file and Process Win.ini file boxes are checked. Process Autoexec.bat file and Load startup group items are also checked but the check boxes are hazed, not white background.
