Hi Didi:

When you short RMBS, you are swimming with the sharks. RMBS is an excellent company, however I have yet to see good companies which did not have a pullback after a runup of 100+ points in a few days, and gapped this morning while still have a gap to fill previously. That is the reason I am placing a tight stop.

The anomaly of shorting is that if there are shares to borrow that usually means that the smart money have not moved in to short the stock thinking it still have room to grow. On the other hand when the smart money thinks the stock will erode, all the available shares have been borrowed leaving none to the individual investors.
