Doubling the data path and address lines form 32 to 64 will have a SEVERE impact on die size.

AMD may have implied that a 64 bit SludgePumper on a 0.13 micron process would be 5% bigger than a 0.18 micron AThwiper.

Funny - AMD just INCREASED the AthWiper size by 18% adding only a 256K cache !

So, AMD is already at a die size deficit !
