Re: full disclosure report - rudedog. it costs 2,500 (dollars). Do you have access to it? I'm just curious to know about the 'cluster' thing. It's my impression that that system price point spans an area where Sun sells a lot of clustered systems into. I'm just (somewhat) curious to know how apples to apples the IDC midrange report is that way. --- I sure hope this is all building up to an Ultra III gala event soon. -JCJ

I think the S80 is fresher; I suspect the UE10000 is mature enough that it's being discounted in anticipation of the new systems based on the US-III. I hope (and expect) Sun will leapfrog soon; otherwise I would agree there's a problem.

But that's JMHO.
