Do you think Greg Maffei could get CTXS out of this mess? He sat on CTXS board and wasn't he the CFO before Brown? He was at MSFT for many years but I believe he left the company. He has a great reputation. If they got someone of his stature the stock would shoot up.

Ray - You wrote: "[snip] If we look back at IBM it went through a worse situation by far, the then biggest loss by a Corporation in history. They went looking for a new CEO and found Gersner the rest is history. Could this company be that lucky?"
Goodness, I hope so. I bought IBM when they hired Gerstner even though the popular wisdom said he didn't have the right experience to turn IBM around. I figured they needed a manager/leader (and the requisite team) rather than a technical person or a visionary because the company already had plenty of those. After watching CTXS for a year, I bought in after the drop to the 40s because of their product (which I sort of think I understand) and their market (which I sort of think I can define). I still like their products (the reason I got in) and their market (which is why I'm still here), and obviously I liked the price at 40 (yeah, well, two out of three). Now, I guess I'll hope the CTXS board of directors can find a manager/leader (and the requisite team)- CTXS is big enough to need one now. As I recall (and I'm sure somebody out there can correct me if I'm wrong heh heh), IBM took about a year or more to recover its losses and two or so to double from there after Gerstner. Personally, I'm hanging around, for a couple of quarters at least, and will watch what the BOD does re: mgt. and what the company says about the conflicting info we have apparently been getting about its sales. But then, CTXS is not a major hold for me so I can afford to sit for awhile. A couple quarters, anyway.
