Earlie, according to the following: Message 13942593 (from the RMBS thread), NEC is getting pretty close to a 15% premium only over SDRAM with their .18 process, this part of the equation (cost) should not be a problem... These are "Die costs and you can make an argument that testing costs will be higher, but my response will be that testing cost of any high data rate DRAM will be higher than the current generation systems.
