I do not claim he was innocent. Why is it some people on this thread cannot seem to comprehend what they read? And if I were in prison right now, accused and convicted of a heinous murder, although completely innocent, do you not think that I would be denounced and vilified by a society of individuals eager to replace thought with anger, justice with fear and rights with expediency? That is not only a primitive society, it is a morally bankrupt one.
