Sounds like a good formula, and I agree.

I don't recall seeing this quote pointed out from the 1Q2000 earnings report, and I think it is important regarding the issue of rapidly-increasing receivables:

"Increases in demand will benefit more than just our revenues and earnings. While we continue to work at reducing our accounts receivable balances, high levels of international shipments, the competitive environment and specific customer payment patterns have resulted in higher balances of accounts receivable than desired. With demand increasing and product availability becoming tighter, we are now seeing a reduction in payment cycles which we expect to be noted in our financial statements in the second quarter."

It will of course be very interesting to see how management comes through on this important issue. If AstroPower can demonstrate efficient cash management, this company and stock become much more compelling investments.
