Astropower (APWR) develops photovoltaic (PV) solar cells. It started trading on February 12, 1998. - APWR will try to boost its market share by using a new technique utilizing silicon film in a new solar cell production plant which should roughly triple output in 1998 and double it again in 1999. It has strategic partners in GPU (GPUI) and Corning Inc. - Please help to create a devoted, lively, informative thread and refrain from personal attacks and flaming.
