Sony and Toshiba in March last year agreed to spend 120 billion yen ($1.12 billion) to make chips for PlayStation2, the successor to the best-selling video game player, while Nintendo is joining with IBM and Matsushita Electric Industrial to develop the successor to its Nintendo 64 game player.

Even on the optimistic side, I doubt if PSX2's will reach 50M units/year for some time. Not knowing what's planned for the fab, it may also include Sony's devices, ie: the Emotion Engine.

As for Nintendo, I think the new Dolphin is slated to use DDR. (Will Rambus have to negotiate with IBM?)

JMHO's
