If I were a betting man, I'd say you are correct (g).

To restate my question: Given the recent trend of technology investments in fabrication (DUV; 0.18 micron; 300 mm wafers), isn't it likely that the RDRAM cost factor (excluding testing) is likley to trend towards unity faster than contemplated?

And with regards to testing and packaging, aren't these issues being effectively addressed by the likes of Kingston and others?
