This feels a bit like the Barrick bid for Argentina Gold.

Lowball first bid, they sweeten after the shareholders turn it down. Shareholders turn it down again and white knight shows up.

Of course DeBeers is talking tough its their job, LOL. Same as Barrick was talking tough.

They obviously want control of this real bad.

Watch Aber sell their share of snap upon a successful takeover. Their talking tough too.

And I don't believe DeBeers was doing any buying yesterday, I'm sure they already own the max allowed by securities law, why would they wait till today?

IMO the buyers of stock yesterday aren't planning to tender their stock at 4.25.
