[just doubled position...] knowing that the catalyst (spin-off of Moodys) will come within months.

Why is the spin-off a catalyst? (Is it because Moody's will then get a higher multiple, so that, post spin-off, New D&B plus Moody's will be valued higher than DNB is today?)

Second, why is the D&B business not as desirable as Moody's? Less of a moat? More capital intensive? I must admit, without knowing the business too well, they do seem like a pretty natural pair of businesses to put together.

(Guess I should have figured this out before buying DNB, eh? Read, fire, aim!)
