Tony, Good point. I'd say that high-end Intel folks have a solution for 4 and 8 cpus... But don't confuse Itanium with high-end servers. The next AlphaServer (non-NDA to me) will be 64 CPUs , EV7 variety... 100 GB/s aggregate memory bandwidth and 28 GB/s I/O bandwidth (pretty certain on both numbers). 1 Terabyte or more memory. aka Marvel Due late next year, (I say that and duck :-). However, I know SGI will be making more of it. We will see how Itanium plays out. Due in July, right? Rob
