There has been some anecotal evidence that the flash shortage is over I thought AMD had sold their flash production a year forward? Presumably there was a contract involved here and the buyers can't just walk away even if the price tanks. A year seems like plenty of time to switch FAB capacity to other things if flash is in the pan (which I do not believe).
