<<I do understand that pedophilia is more common among heterosexuals than homosexuals, >>

Really? I thought it was the other way around, admittedly based on anecdotal evidence.

The information I have found states that the majority of pedophilia involves heterosexuals, but that homosexuals are 3 times more likely to be involved in this activity.

<...is the fear of pedophiles, and I do understand that pedophilia is more common among heterosexuals than homosexuals,...>> I have been surprised every time I hear about a scandal, as with the priesthood, that we hear nothing about scoutmasters. With all that camping around and counseling troubled youth and all, it would seem like easy pickins for pedophiles. Sorry if that sounds callous but I can't help but wonder about it.

>>I believe that being homosexual is not a lifestyle choice, it's something people are born with. I don't find it offensive or repulsive. One of my sisters is gay, and my best friend from college is gay<<

So what would happen if a "homosexuality gene" is discovered and through testing a pregnant woman finds that her unborn child has the gene and decides to abort? Would you be in favor of that woman's right to choose?
